Things to consider: If it looks like it might rain, unless otherwise directed, our team will plan to have the ceremony in the outdoor Pine Cathedral. No later than two hours prior to the start of your ceremony you must make the decision to move indoors. Stonewall Farms retains the right to move the ceremony indoors for any reason if there is perceived danger to guests due to weather conditions. However, in most cases the decision is up to those whose name are on the event contract to move the ceremony indoors (Friesian Stable upper level Ballroom) due to inclement weather. Stonewall Farms is not liable for equipment, injury, or destruction of private property associated with unpredictable weather changes. However, Stonewall Farms staff will do what they can to increase the comfort of guests during inclement weather. If you are anticipating the weather to be hot on your wedding day it is highly recommended that you have a water station with bottled water at the entrance of the ceremony site. It is recommended that any décor used at the ceremony be able to withstand unpredictable weather conditions including but not limited to wind and rain. Any décor items that incorporate open flame must be approved by Stonewall Farms prior to your event.
